Student drew this picture of herself. She explained in detail how each object in the flyer expressed her feelings about stress, how she copes, and how these objects have helped build own personality. She presented this to the whole class, and I am very proud of her. This student doesn’t do well with assignments that are written, but clearly has an exceptional way of expressing what she has learned.
Every student’s flyer was different and that was what I had hoped for. This way I could explain even better how and why personality and culture truly does affect the way a person handles stress. Some students focused on the facts they had learned and some wanted to express themselves as a person, their culture, and how it either helps or doesn’t help their stress and self-esteem.
